Oleg Duryagin

Oleg Duryagin is a very talented young Russian photographer that takes photo retouching/digital painting to a deliciously disturbing extreme. His portraits seek to capture the dark and light side of humanity as he mixes reality with mannequin like artificiality. His figures are stripped of all individuality, with no blemishes, no winkles or laugh lines, no eyebrows just totally smooth pale porcelain doll-like complexions that gaze expressionless at the viewer. The eyes are vacant and eery, devoid of human emotion. The whole effect is surreal and disturbing in a beautiful "too perfect" way.
